The real story is not as dramatic as the title sounds. :)
Two days ago (Monday), I woke up with swollen left eye as if someone has bashed me up the eye. It's not like I didn't know it's coming. A day before that day, I already felt the pain right below the eyebrow. The culprit was the gigantic ingrown pimple that is so serious that it causes the area around it. On Monday, it was so bad that I took a day off from work to see doc. Much better now that I've taken the necessary medications and the cream that doc gave was very good.
I had a little overpriced dinner for the quality of food that was provided at AMK hub with him. He sent me home afterwards. Soon after I left him, he messaged me and told me that bb (that's how he calls his bike) and I have so many things in common that when we fall ill, we both do at the same time. He was saying that because BB's headlight went bad that night and not forgetting I had my left eye in a bad shape too. Why didn't I think of that? LoL..

Moview Review: Terminator Salvation

Went to watch this movie today and hence the review for you to help decide if this is the movie that you'd want to watch.
Official Sypnosis referred from IMDB: Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, John Connor is the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright, a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet’s operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind. Written by Warner Bros. Pictures.
My take on this movie is that, there are certain parts of the movie which were not explained why they exist and why the certain actions. Christian Bale played as John Conner and Sam Worthington as Marcus Wright.
The 3 stars I've given to this movie mainly goes to the fantastic visual effects and the excitement it brings out throughout the movie. Personally, I love Marcus in this as compared to Conner although Conner's supposed to be the good guy. Not that Marcus's supposed to be the bad one but he's being forced into becoming something that is made with a bad purpose.
Overall, this is a decent one that you might want to watch at the cinema just like I did. I chose this movie over the Monster vs Alien today and I'm glad I did.
Happy watching!

Grey Hair Gag
My workplace is like my second home where I spend 80% of my daytime. People around me in the office are like my close friends and family.
When we gather around to chat, there will always be someone who will get unitary teasing from all of us. Sometimes, it's me, but most of the time it's female colleague N/Y or the male colleague K.
K sits across a walkway from my desk, backfacing me. Today I saw a grey hair sticking outta his messy head and I shouted.
Me: K! You've got a white hair sticking out. You should do something about it.
K's Supervisor (S) overhearing what I've just said, says: Oh, that's the sign to show that K actually works hard.
Me to S: Damn, K's gonna have to dye his hair white before you're back from your leave next week.
K: @#$#$$%@!@$%
Hahaha.. (that's from all of them who heard me except K)..

The Twilight Saga: New Moon Movie Trailer
This has got to be my long waited movie for the year, it's going to be out in Dec 2009. I can't help but to wait for this patiently for 6 more months!!!
I'm an uber huge fan of Twilight movie as well as the books. Love everything about it, the plot, the casts, the romantic and passionate side of the vampires, Edward and Bella, everything and everyone!!
I've seen Twilight movie for the 3rd time now and going to watch it again when I have time.
Based on the books, the 2nd one "New Moon" wasn't that good as compared to the other 3. But I still love it and can't wait to watch the casts in action.
Here's the trailer that is now available on YouTube. If you are a twilight fan, you will definitely love this! Way to go Cullens and Bella. Kristen Stewart (Bella) is darn pretty.

Introducing the Movie Reviews
I finally has got some times for movies after the exams, always wanted to do this but didn't have enough time to sit around doing it. So, here we go! The movies that are going to be featured/rated in this blog will be rated according to my star ratings and definitions as below:

Prepare for disappointment watching it. Don't say I didn't
warn you.

Just watch it at home when both yourself and the movie are free.

1 or 2 scenes you might like, that's about all.

Good enough to rent a DVD.

Cinema ticket was worth it.

You will definitely enjoy it.

Great! Bring your popcorn and enjoy the show.

Awsome! You might not want to miss this!

Totally awsome! Stop reading review, go watch it right away!
warn you.
Movie Review: Blood: The Last Vampire

This is the anime-turned-movie. I have not seen the anime but apparently a colleague of mine has and came to know that the movie is made as closely as possible to the anime to the point that certain scenes were done really badly. Gianna Jun (a) Jeon Ji-Hyun is the lead actress in this movie, if you have watched a Korean movie - My Sassy Girl, you should have known her. I liked that movie and that was one of the reasons why I watched this movie.
The movie started in Japan, with a scene of Jeon Ji-Hyun (as a Japanese girl in this show) on the train with one other guy and the murder occurred on that same train.
The movie is about a vampire named Saya (Jeon Ji-Hyun) who lives her life to avenge the most powerful and deadly demon called "Onigen" (Japanese Actress - Koyuki) for her late father and the grand-fatherly old man who has saved her but eventually being seeked by the bunch of Ninjas lead by Onigen and was killed by them.
Well, I will not add anymore information on the movie and the plot just in case you wanted to watch it and I would like my review to be as spoiler-free as possible.
I gave some credits for the lead actress because I was personally a fan of hers. And the movie is about a girl who could fight with the huge numbers of vampires although she was badly out-numbered and this was all because of her late father's sword which has killed many demons and hence their power remained in it. So, for some of you (especially guys), this movie might be a crappy one. I enjoyed the visual effects done and the fact that the girl really could fight, after all, I'm a little biased.
Anyway, I'm only giving this movie 2 stars. So, if you could resist your temptation to see Jeon Ji-Hyun in action (and a high school girl uniform through out the show) for now, I'd suggest you to wait for the DVD release and rent it at the nearest DVD rental.

Too many things, Too little time!
EXAMS ARE OVER! So, what now?
I've thought of a thousand and one things before my exam, that I wanted to do after all these stuffs are over. Some of which are, taking courses on sat/sun to upgrade my skills in various areas, buy books that I've been wanting to read and didn't have time, catch up with the movies, clean the house, learn driving, focus on building the website that I've started on with 2 other friends, and many more..
I don't even know which one to start with except that now I have more time to work on my blog and thinking of doing some reviews on the books that I've read and the movies that I've seen. I've always wanted to do such.
So, I will be posting on the movies and book reviews. Being a movie junkie, I've watch many more movies than those around me. And there are some books that I really liked, so, would like to share with you.
They are on your way soon... feel free to check them out... =)
